I lived in New York during my studies at NYU in Media, Culture and Communication with a Business minor in Entertainment and Technology. Currently, I reside in
Marina Del Rey, California.

I am passionate about music, sports, visual arts, interior design and lifting. My favorite form of self-expression currently is music production and mixing.

My experience

Content Curator at Meta (2022-2024)

I worked on the Product Content Operations team at Meta supporting initiatives for Reels, Threads and Facebook. My day-to-day included tracking and seeding Gen-Z content trends for amplification on Reels to training LLMs on guidelines I helped draft around both high-quality and low-quality content attributes for Threads. I also led PCO’s efforts in Instagram’s Notes Prompts through assigning daily reviews of top-engaged prompts, building guidelines and collaborating with Product, Policy and Engineering teams on deliverables.

Producer at BuzzFeed (2021-2022)

As a Video Producer on BuzzFeed’s Celebrity team, I filmed, edited and wrote copy for over 80 videos in 15 months for their flagship celebrity video series, including “Thirst Tweets,” “Puppy Interviews” and more. I’m proud to have also increased their K-Pop video content during my time there by pitching up-and-coming K-Pop artists for video opportunities as well as translating on-set and in post-production. I also ran point on growing the Celeb team’s TikTok presence.

Digital Strategist at Warner Music Group (2020 - 2021)

As a Digital Strategist for Warner Music Group, I led social strategy for 17 different brands under WMG from paid to organic social media posts on behalf of the label’s artists and partners, including The Grateful Dead to Roberta Flack, while managing the team’s budget. I also gathered key conversion metrics across our social, podcast and video content on a monthly basis to audit audience growth.

EDITORIAL CONTENT at Warner Music Group (2019 - 2020)

As an Editorial Content Coordinator on the Fan Engagement team at Warner Music Group, I wrote daily articles for WMG’s music news websites.
I also launched and managed our weekly email newsletters, from copywriting to collaborating with the Email Operations team. Additionally, I led the launch of Rhino Insider, the label’s first owned & operated rewards program, as an engagement strategy for our artists’ fans.

Entertainment Editor at The Korea Daily (2013-2015)

I began at The Korea Daily as a student reporter covering entertainment news and feature stories before I rose to an Editor position where I managed a team of student reporters. My responsibilities included assigning and editing print editorial and digital long-form articles for monthly publication in the English-language section of The Korea Daily, in partnership with The New York Times.

I graduated from NYU with a Bachelor of Science in Media, Culture and Communication and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. I wrote my Honors Thesis on “The Rise of Latin Hits on Billboard Charts: How Spotify Diversifies Music Discovery” and graduated
with Honors.
